pea Anyone ever thought that due to his stature and background (he didn't come through the academy system so had to learn some more technical parts late) he has just got used to having to dive full stretch sometimes to compensate for his size/poor positioning. Its not showboating its just the way he has got used to playing his position, which he does very very well now, and the idea that he should try and relearn his trade because some keyboard warrior on a fan forum thinks he's showing off is an absurd suggestion.

Some keyboard warrior?

Jeez, you people have short memories.

The camera-save thing has been one of he main criticisms made
of him for the last TWO SEASONS.

It's more noticeable now because apart from those, he is excellent.

Actually the main criticism was that he wasn't as good as Mccarthy and should have been offloaded and that he was overrated. Just because people were saying it doesn't make it true. I haven't noticed him making any more showy saves than any other keeper. Just seems to me that people like you can't admit that you got it completely wrong last season and at the start of this season.

i think with tonight's performance fed surpassed USA for me. tonight, along with the brighton game, were top draw WORLD CLASS performances. it goes to show how far he has developed as a player and what an integral part of this team he is.

Hey Jimmy the Quim, I have defended Fedders for years

I think he is ace. Doesn't mean he's perfect.

Feel free to quote me damning him

Again he was immense tonight. Some of the first half saves were top draw. I think a nice new contract is deserved before some big fish come calling!

roadrunner ALOL. Nowhere fecking near it.

Fancy shot-stopper, then average at everything else.

Still feel that way?

Everywhere I look I see "top draw". The expression is regularly in print on BBC website, on here on a daily basis etc...

I'm beginning to doubt myself but surely it's "top drawer" not draw?

Oh and Fed >>> USA IMO.

JimmytheJim Snowball and IR are apparently incapable of just admitting that they got it completely wrong.

I take it you missed all my recent posts saying he's had a fantastic season then. He has been the best 'keeper in the division. He has cut out the vast majority of things that he did which held him back and he is fully deserving of being heaped with praise.

I still don't think there's anything wrong with prefering to give McCarthy a chance over him at the start of the season, when at that time their performance was of a pretty similar standard. Feds being number 1 worked out brilliantly. Nothing to say McCarthy wouldn't have performed to a similar standard though... it's an unknowable if.

How Kelvin Davis was in the ccc team of the year instead of him is beyond me. Feders has single handedly won 3 points for us at times!

That would be poor goalkeeping. Luckily he uses both hands where possible.
