SCIAG Is winning a free kick that is scored really worth less than winning a penalty that is not scored?

IMO, because penalties are scored 85% of the time, winning a pen is equivalent to scoring a goal and is a very big assist.
Hard to give assists for free-kicks in general because where does it stop?
True, could give assists for free-kicks that are scored (eg Roberts this weekend)

grey_squirrel Just hope stupidly losing those (winnable) 4 games at home already this season (the worst record in the top 8 ) isn't going to bite us on the bum when the fat lady sings

This prediction is a joke yeah? That would make 11 wins on the bounce which yes I guess it is a joke.

themadstad Well it won't be happening now, to consider the games ahead it's simply too much of an ask.
Millwall have just beaten Burnley away scoring 3 goals.
themadstad Portsmouth will be fighting for survival,
themadstad Leicester is never going to be easy and with Nigel managing them again we'll find it harder.

themadstad Portsmouth like I say will be fighting and won't want to lose, they'll make it tough and Leicester I maintain will be tough.
