Great win. Bit of a meh game in reality, but once again our defence had the opposition in their pockets, particularly Pearce who I thought was outstanding. Special mention to Kaspars as well. Best CB pairing in the divsion.

Keep going like this and we'll be top 6 in May.

We are at last adjusting to the loss of some key players.

Brian has done it again!

Good well organised display sets us up nicely for the xmas period especially the next two home games where we try to improve our rather indifferent home record. Let's hope we can carry on in the current vein and not drop a couple of stinkers into the mix before the trip to Cardiff.

Big Foot Far from a classic for the neutrals but will take 3 points and clean sheet 2 weeks running against top 6 sides all day long.

Can only echo the comments re: Gorkss, he was incredibly good in the air. At times it looked like a training session for him to win headers as he made it look that easy.

Federici rarely had a save to make but to be fair to him, did well with a number of crosses.

Karacan had great energy in hustling Leeds when they had possession high up the pitch, something Le Fondre did well too. Think that Helped us as Leeds got very very nervous on the ball and so resulted in the long ball a lot which Gorkss was able to mop up effectively.

All in all, a great day's work.

/\ This.

Sat with some Leeds fans who were full of praise for us, mainly because we were constantly chasing to shut Leeds down whenever they were on the ball. One of them even said it was "as if you have 3 players to every 1 of ours". Credit to the fitness levels and determination of the players tbf.

The game certainly won't go down in history as a "great" but it was a superb 3 points and you've got to say every player on the park did their bit to contribute towards the win.

An enjoyable away day and fantastic to win at Elland Road.

Beer ran in rivers and a friend of mine managed to pull a police woman from West Yorkshire Constabulary when we were out at a bar in the city centre. This is no bullshit- my friend had a one night stand with a copper up there in what turned out to be a refreshingly innovative and enlightened approach to policing.

I assume that particulars were taken down in evidence, she supported him in probing suspicious areas, and that all openings were thoroughly explored.

No, it's ok - it's police slang for 'pinned it on the black guy'.

Not sure about that, but Steve Claridge expressed a lack of surprise that that particular cover wasn't done by 'an english person'.

I think it's great that the Beeb are honourably handing presenting jobs to people with Downs Syndrome, but I still took exception to his remarks.

I can't say I'm surprised by them, however; there is a unwritten code us non-downs follow that he's unlikely to be familiar with.

Don't you mean 'Dear Leader'? (Was is it with Leaders? The last 'Leader' turned out to be a bit of a disappointment as well - Gareth Glitter.)
