Svlad Cjelli Shambles? We're talking about the colour of the back of a football shirt?

Maybe people ought to get a sense of proportion.

"Shambles" should be reserved for important things, like describing polls/competitions in AE.

Like the new online ticketing system, or a home kit that is one club's colours on one half and another on the other. :|

Tbf it wouldn't have been such a bad thing keeping blue shorts with a plain white back on the shirts.
If white back panels are here to stay then blue shorts and white socks like in the last picture is the way 4ward :!:

Shambles;
A scene or condition of complete disorder or ruin.
Great clutter or jumble. A total mess.

I think this sums up the latest strip perfectly. In fact there is a strong resemblance to performances on the pitch. Coincidence?

Yeah it did and I do prefer the white shorts and socks but that shirt is just too white. Even the sleeves don't have any blue on them, let alone the plain white back.

If you really want hoops all the way round then now is the time to contact the club and say so as this is when they start the decision process for next season.

I though the supporters had no say in the matter of design?

Overall design - you are never going to be able to get a shirt designed by fans. But the club are the ones pointing to the numbers of complaints about hoops all the way round and none about back panels/plain shirt backs.

royalexile I though the supporters had no say in the matter of design?

As Sarah said, they heard a few grumble about hoops meaning they couldn't see who was who ( :| ) which is fecking stupid if you go enough you wouldn't even think to look at the back of the shirts!

Thing is, not enough want to contact the club. They'd prefer to moan on here and leave it there, hence why they don't get heard.

Hopefully STAR can pick this up on our behalf and see if they can put some of the opionions forward.

If STAR have already or plan to pass on the results of their survey then that shows that there is at least a consensus between those who filled it in.

Outside of that I think that people would probably need to email the club directly - hopefully some have already in response to this thread - for them to take it into account. I emailed a while ago which is where they said that fans had asked to have a back panel but maybe if others did it now and also directed them to this thread at the same time...!

or maybe, they are all not quite sad enough to think that hoops are that big a deal.
not enough to write in an complain/request them at any rate

There are plenty on here who have voiced complaints that the hoops don't go all the way around, or they don't like the all white back panel etc etc. They could be bothered to air they frustrations on here, so why not email the club directly about it?

It's easy to sound off when you're hidden behind an anonymous user ID - quite another thing to put your name to a complaint.

I doubt anyone finds it intimid8ing putting their name to a complaint
We're all on an RFC messageboard, it's easy to say what you do and don't agree with here.
Why spend more effort getting together a complaint that will be ignored?

Because it might not be ignored?

And because if it is ignored then there's a full route of complaint, all the way up to the Independent Football Ombudsman.
