I was in Nepal for 3 months at the beginning of this year and listened to the games via Reading Player. Even with my dodgy 15kbs internet speed I had I could still listen. Watching the video highlights was out of the question though unfortunately. But yes, you should be able to listen from USA.
If the BBC Berkshire broadcasts are going to be the ones they use on Reading Player then I'm happy, the commentary from the main guy on 107 was awful.

Agreed, anything is better than Peter "shouty moron" Hood and whilst Armstrong was knowledgeable, his preference for crap percentage hoofball and criticising anyone who wanted to pass less than 30 yards was always frustrating.

CayeneMatt Anyone know why reading 107 stopped doing the royal box? I actually rated that Armstong bloke who talked a lot of sense.
Did SJM sell the rights to bbcrb as I beieve he owns 107?

Maquisard Peter Hood's use of "here" to end every sentence was a teeny bit irritating. But at least he described what was happening on the pitch. Tim Dellor was atrocious yesterday - I had absolutely no idea what was going on most of the time, while he and Mick Gooding just queen-bitched about former players and the ref. I might cancel my RP subscription if that's the best BBCRB can come up with. But we'll see. Maybe they get better over time.

tbh, it's usually like that - plus some discussion about the food they get served and the travel to the game if it's an away match.

Hmmm, thats not cool. I actually thought it was some of the worst commentary I have ever heard. They rarely mention which part of the pitch the action is taking place in and I don't think I heard them once talk about who was making runs off the ball / covering defenders / overlapping etc. The commentary seems to be well behind the action (based on the crowd noise) and always feels like they are playing catch up. Hood and Armstrong were annoying but I did feel like I could picture what was going on - which is fairly important for radio commentary!
Incidentally the audio levels were sh1te, real amateur radio at times. Never mind, I can always use the button at the top of RP and listen to the away commentary!
