Ooh soz. I've been back aaaages.

Not really a "proper" game for me. Too many changes, not our first team - but worth getting a few up to speed "just in case" for playoffs. Impressed by Taylor. Feds made some good saves yet again. Cummings seemed solid enough. Pearce did well considering not played regularly for first team in a long while. Antonio didn't seem to up his game today. Manset - I'm a bit "meh" about his performance but he is able to hold the ball up/bully opponents off the ball on good days.

Got excited seeing Kebe in his shorts - thought he would at least be on bench - but hearing McD's interview doesn't sound like he's a certainty for play offs - which is a great shame.

All in all, we did a job - but I'd have liked us to have created more and finished Derby off really. But it's a win, onwards and upwards - we'll have a lot more motivation and no expectation on our heads than Cardiff will. So, that could be the difference between winning and losing this semi.

I think everyone else is out celebrating. I know my mind has been elsewhere really since seeing Savage in his underpants and old man vest.

Back home via a few refreshment houses.

The result wasn't important today but a few players individual performances were. Hard to pick a MOM between HRK and Cummings, both with very strong shows.

Good to go into the playoffs with a win under our belts. Great to see Brynar on the pitch.

Very fitting send off for Savage, 90 minutes of abuse and then a standing ovation all around the ground.

Derby fans in good voice, spoilt somewhat by the silly antics at the end. Looked like the stewards enjoyed it more than they did!

All in all a pretty comfortable win in a pretty meaningless match but great to have turned around a couple of dodgy results and rubbished the Manager of the Month curse.

Attempted pitch invasion by a couple of hundred of them, dealt with in very good fashion by about 2 dozen stewards!

Stewards looked like they were having trials for the egg-chasers; some excellent tackles flying in 8)
Hopefully the "first-team" can take this on now and give Cardiff a battering on Friday. Taylor and Cummings were impressive. So happy for Gunnarsson, if that is his last game he can take real pride in it as the winner was thanks to him really.

Oh yes forgot about Gunnarsson, it was started by Jake Taylor wasn't it and then Gunnarsson won the ball and passed to Robson-Kanu? I don't think that's the last we've seen of Bryn, I suspect he'll at least be on bench for play offs.

One of the tackles was absolutely SUPERB. An older bigger guy was chasing a younger fitter guy and the gap was getting bigger as the youngster sped away. You could see the steward thinking it was now or never so he lunged before the gap got too big and landed a crunching tackle on the derby fan who slammed into the deck. He then hauled him off in no uncertain terms. Great viewing.

+1. He's like a lucky mascot in crunch games.

Taylor and Gunnarson double-teamed their LB and the ball richocheted into the area. Keeper flapped at it and Robson-Kanu knocked in from right side of area, about 12 yards out.

Antonio was gash. Cummings better than I thought. At one point I thought we'd boss it utterly but their No 10 was very good.

Where was Ivar at the end? I would have thought he would have gone round on the lap of honour.

In summary:

Cummings excellent and will be a regular for us next season. Big supporter of Antonio but was a let down today. Struggling to see why everyone whooping about Jake Taylor. Did ok and nothing more. Be interesting to see if Federici was at fault for the goal but other than that he was excellent. Derby pitch invasion was embarrassing.

Bring on Cardiff.

Jake Taylor had a hand in setting up the second goal. His persistence paid off.

They're great if you've actually won something (or having a proper sack the manager protest). Other than that they are bit pointless.

With Cardiff being the visitors I'd imagine the ground will be swarming with police, so running on would be a bit daft.

I'm convinced he was offside when Bryn won the ball and played it forward for him to cross - perhaps because he was down on the ground at the time the lino didn't notice him.

Overall we didn't play well and gave Derby lots of possession, there were few chances but we had the best of them. Feds made one great save that he saw late, but looked suspect for their goal.

I thought HRK had one of his best games for a while, he seems full of confidence to take people on, he just needs to look up a bit more and play the ball sooner, but probably my MOTM.

Church useless as ever, but did have one decent shot that hit the bar.
