At 2-0 up we did. I thought it was our annual "let's embarrass a team from Sheffield" day.

Yes, we looked like we would thrash them.

Two in the net and their keeper made a string of saves.

It looked like it would be a rout for 20/25 minutes

3 year deal for a substantial fee (wait for the local press to start bandying figures about methinks) and he'll sign on 1st June (that's when the English transfer window reopens) not 1st July (when the International transfer window reopens)

I'm going to guess in the region of £250,000.

At least a million, he's pretty valuable to us. Even more so if we go up.

I think £700,000 basic

An extra £500,000 if we get promoted this year, or an extra £300,000 if we go up next year.

We'll never know, it'll be 'undisclosed' as usual.
The club have said substantial, which i've never heard them say about any of our signings, so it could be a record (or very close to). But I reckon you're pretty close with £700k up front, and more depending on promotion/ appearances etc.

Excellent piece of business. Karacan has improved immeasurably since Leigertwood came into the team.
