Feds

by murts_the_god » 16 Apr 2011 18:40

After tweeting following todays game i was very shocked that feds decided to block me on twitter after replying to my tweet( which i didnt read because he deleted it before i had the chance to read it) because i think that Mccarthy is the keeper in form at the minute and i cant see a way back for feds as things look. im sorry but as a season ticket holder for longer than i care to remember and the fact that my money goes into their pockets i think i am entitled to an opinion whether it was negative or positive and for a role model to a lot of people who support him i think its disgusting that he can just block and delete and basically ignore anyone who critisises him, also makes me wonder if he can get the hump because of what someone on tinternet says to him what if someone were to say the same thing to his face, sorry mate no respect for you.
anyway rant over another good win today more of the same please

What was your tweet?

Also there's a massive difference between having an opinion and telling someone your opinion directly. I'm entitled to think your mum is fit, but do you really want me telling her that?

Do you work?

If you did, and someone started criticising how well you do your job, would you want to carry on listening to them?

...is still - sadly - a twat.

Leave the guy alone. He isn't in the team and must be feeling it. He's one of our players. May still have a part to play this season (on top of his good work before his injury). No need to rub it in.

He he, I was only messing. I was just testing your theory that everyone is allowed an opinion.

What did your tweet say exactly?

This is true. Why not just tweet that McCarthy's playing well rather than add in a dig at Feds when you know there's a good chance he could seer it.

That's if it's from your boss or colleagues, presumably. What if it's from a complete stranger who's looking in through the window?

But in general that'll be from someone within your organisation with detailed knowledge of your performance throughout the working week.

Do you get a lot of outside observers dropping you a line to tell you you're crap ?

Fecking stalkers at the window.

Feds has done bloody well, he is a player that may well be in The Prem next season evenif RFC are not, he knows that injury has cost him his place in the team, there is only room for one keeper so he is now back up.

I bet he is taking it better than some idiot that feels the need to rub his nose in it on some networking shite like twatter.

Can we all thank you for putting so much into RFC, Feds must be gutted to earn so little though.

He could be a customer of the company you work for - but he'd be doing that in a minuscule way, just as you are to Feds. You should perhaps count yourself lucky he was professional enough to just block you instead of telling you to FOAD.

I've never understood why so-called fans would slag off a player in such a way. We've all done it on here to a greater or lesser extent, depending on who we are, but to go out of your way to "tweet" Feds and tell him that, basically, you think he's rubbish, is appalling. I suspect Feds' reply was none too charitable either, but he decided to delete it rather than send you it - so all power to him.

It's one thing to have an opinion on a player, but quite another to say it to them - whether that is in person or via a personal tweet. So, don't expect any sympathies from us.
