I predict a whole section of stand filled with home fans instead of us.

Man City 44,890 v 2,836 Reading

Could of been alot closer but.......... that's the Madejski way

Every time I have seen City, I have been singularly unimpressed. They just seem to be comprised of (very) expensive individuals. Their back four is very dodgy - especially at set-pieces.

1-2 and Wembley awaits.

City don't get back to Manchester til 4am on Friday morning!

I am thinking 3-1. City go 2-0 up, we pull one back in the last 20, give it the kitchen sink, but leave wide open spaces for them to get a third late on.

Balotelli went off with an illness, but Tevez and Dzeko are more then enough to give us a whipping. Bizarrely (after tonight's loss in Kiev) this becomes their biggest game of the season so far.

They did look a bit pants against Chicken Kiev tho.....

They wouldn't be in the top four if they weren't decent. But it seems they're on a not very impressive run, in which they've fallen away from the top two. They do not like playing against a tight, pressing team. This showed even against Notts County; but we probably have better fitness than County, who could not keep it up.

I hate myself for being optimistic, because it usually comes back in my face.

As for being individuals, that's certainly true of the odious Balotelli, who in my opinion today wanted to get off the field. On the other hand, they do pass it very well, which may be a test for us if we can't get the ball.

1-1

I was hoping they'd be tired after this game, but they played it at a walking pace so I doubt it. Mind you, I get tired from travelling itself, which I hope they do. I also hope they try to play us at a walking pace, given how old our backs are. It would be precisely the wrong tactic to adopt against us.

City back-lash against performance last night.

Team made up of Brits/ players with long experience of English footi - i.e. who can handle our style of play.

We go 1-0 up and lose 4-1.

It is cold and wet

Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli lasted only 57 minutes in the 2-0 defeat at Dynamo Kiev on Thursday after suffering an allergic reaction to grass. Manager Roberto Mancini said: "He had an allergy and his face was swollen."

 Must be a tough allergy to manage, being a footballer and all...

The fact they've got a short recovery time from the Europa League match last night negates the fact they're one of the favourites to win the FA Cup given overall FA Cup form this season for me. Plus was quite encouraged by what i saw last night... If we'd kept a clean sheet and won 3-0 the other night and weren't possibly going to be without Mills i would really have fancied our chances...But as it is i'll go for 1-0 City Tevez scoring after a goalless first half.

No expectations of a result in big games like this is always preferable anyway.

How about 2-1 win in injury time? Anything will be good as long as they don't take that 10 minute nap on the pitch like they did against Villa.

I think it depends on who's fit - could really do with Kebe back as a pace outlet.

McD very coy about who's fit on OS - I sense a bit of Arsene Wenger here ALA Barcelona - last weekend apparently Fabrigas and Van Persie both had no chance.

I reckon we will have a strong side out and get something out of this - they looked knackered last night.

A draw would be a good result, financiall that is, but I remember when we drew up there before and had the replay at Elm Park !! confident though in the outcome of this one.

1-3

brendywendy id say that their heads going down due to being outplayed by a bunch of lower league journey men and kids was more likely. these prima-donnas dont like it up em

brendywendy They look shit ,couldnt play through em,vulnerable on the wings and on the break.shit defence. We are nailed on for the win. It is our destiny.
