From Despair To Where? Dunga likes a pragmatic style of football, not a great surprise that ROnaldinho isn't going.

Maradona on the other hand is bonkers. HIs plan A seems to be let Messi win the cup single handedly. There is no plan B.

^greed but same thing worked in '86...

True, but as a coach, Maradona is no Billardo.

No Zanetti is the shock for me

Also, haven't seen him for Madrid this year but, no Benzema for France? Correct Decision?

bobbybottler Is Riquelme injured or retired? Either way, he's one I like to watch, shame he won't be there.

retired from international football 3 years ago after falling out with Maradona

Stay friends with Maradona = get picked for WC 2010, no matter how limited you might be. Martin Palermo's name is springing to mind as I type this.

Suppose he's got to have someone from Boca in there.

Nobody's seen him for Madrid this year, which is probably why he hasn't been picked.

soggy biscuit LOL @ the media being shocked that Adriano hasn't made the Brazil squad. Have they followed his antics over the past couple of years????

In fairness he's had a better season than Grafite, as far as I'm aware.

On the pitch maybe, but off it Adriano's has been one big LOLZfest (in and out of rehab, arrests, sent home from training drunk, going missing for lengthy periods of time, kidnapping his ex girlfriend......)

It'd be Samoa rather than American Samoa, and no, they haven't.

Disappointingly, it looks like Joe and Gerry Baker didn't play against each other either.

That Group D is very wide open. Should England advance i wouldn't like to say who i think we'd end up playing should we (hopefully) advance.
