Ian Royal Clear penalty for Bayern ignored by the ref after a blatant shove in the box from Vidic

Ignoring your Spacey-esque reality-blindness: you don't get penalties for those. If it had been on the end of a goal kick then the free kick would have been given, but not a penalty.

It's a foul, it's a penalty. They should be given. I don't care if they aren't normally.

And justice is done. Great goal from Robben.

Flares at OT, reminds me of HNA? v The Burbs at Palmer Park.

This is tragic news for all those very many southern-based Man Yoo 'supporters' who have visited OT less often than I have but will still be heartbroken at the demise of a club they have absolutely no attachment to. And wasn't it great to see Arsenal destroyed too.

PLOLatini will be pleased that there are no English teams left in the competition.

Personally, m'eh!

Inter v Barca should be a cracking semi final.

It's a shame that there isn't an English club in the semis or even the final though. I hadn't considered that stat about the previous 5 consecutive finals featuring an English club.

Man United 3-2 Bayern (4-4 agg. Bayern through on away goals rule.)
Bordeaux 1-0 Lyon (2-3 agg. Lyon go through.)

Bayern vs Lyon
Inter vs Barca
Semis.

Awful from united - 3-0 and going out lol. Rafael cost his team tonight but united have proved over two legs that they can't hack it without a full fit rooney - one man team.

Or that there was only 1 English Finalist in the previous 19.

The way the commentator was babbling on you would have thought we owned the competition.

and Just LOL at Fergies post match interview. 'Typical Germans' got him sent off by surrounding the referee. The Irony.

LOL at the bitter red nosed cnuter - as if the Man Utd players wouldn't have surrounded the ref had one of the Bayern players who was on a yellow card then commit another bad foul.

Bitter and pathetic interview full of xenophobia from 'Sir' Alec as he chews gum into the microphone. Classy.
