If we played well against QPR away, then we've never ever played badly in all all of our history. And there are currently no superlatives in existance to describe how well we're currently playing.

I like GS but he has a tendency to lose the plot from time to time - seems like it's getting more regular.

BTW - massive LOL at Boro for sacking Southgate when they were one point from top place. He clearly wasn't up to the job.

I reckon we'll win, but I'm pretending to think we'll lose. Been doing that for the past few weeks and it seems to work.

I'm sat on the train to Boro and reading this genuinely made me laugh out loud.

Should we be winning a "should have stuck with Southgate" chant might be in order

Yeah, I remember checking the stats for Sheff Utd game and we had the better of shots and the ball. Still lost 3-0, this was after the Anfield win.

I'm still going with a Middlesbrough win at 2-0.

It happens. I once saw Carlisle "slaughter" Blackpool and lose 4-0

Sometimes they go in, sometimes they don't

True but with Middlesbrough and their issue around midfielders, they've got some out, and the knowledge of our great form. They'll come together as a team and make it hard for us to play.

Defensively Middlesbrough aren't that bad at home and I can see them making it hard for us to score.

Boos must be related to the Mills incident.

LoyalRoyalFan This is from them Middlesbrough website.

Despite their form, Brian McDermott's side were booed by some supporters during their midweek game, but Strachan says that's a common feature of the modern game and it would be wrong to read too much into it.

I didn't hear any booing.

Another interesting quote from Strachan
I saw them beaten 4-1 at QPR early on in the season but they played well that day

You did not hear any booing during the Mills situation then ?
