TheMaraudingDog Glazer's will be out within a year while your chairman will still be milking your club.

The Glazers have f*cked your club so hard that it'll be a decade before you recover.

And the rest of the country thinks it's quite funny, because all the United fans got excited about being rich, and now they'll got all "traditional" in the defence of their club that they *oops* forgot about when the yanks took over

That's a load of tripe - did you not see the countless anti-Glazer demos at the time of the takeover? United fans were far from happy at the takeover

As for taking a decade to recover, qualify that please? On the pitch? They're in with a shout of winning an unprecedented 4th consecutive league title.

Back to the chants, the Villa fans cheered me up after he game yesterday:

"Wembley, Wembley, its a famous place in London that The Blues will never see"

Why can't we come up with something as witty?

That's the kind of thing Portsmouth fans were crowing about 2 years ago "...yeah but we've won the cup"

Although United will (hopefully) never be the basketcase that Portsmouth have become, their level of short term debt is not sustainable. Should the Glazer's ever feel that they need to sell, they will sell to the highest bidder - regardless of who the buyer is, or what their intentions are.

AutoWindscreens winners in the early 90s?

I think there's a reasonable point that United's financial dominance came from being a PLC (admittedly, the first club to really make it work and work well so credit there) which in turn lead to them being able to be bought a good decade or so later. However, that wasn't really made in the first post. Ah well.

Yeah, I seem to remember a picture of a goalscorer revealing his undershirt which said "Shit on the Villa" that caused some controversy in the papers.

Do 'the world's biggest club' not have their own message board?

I know I shouldn't rise to it, but I bet TMD is the sort of saddo who knocks off to his Giggsy poster underneath his Man U bedspread!
