I just remembered my boss's boss is a Villa fan. Sent him an email as I was leaving today.

I'm excited. By Sunday I'll be bouncing off the walls with nervous tension.

Bertie Mee said to The Queen
Have you heard of the North Bank, Highbury
The Queen said no
I don't think so
But I've heard of the Reading.....aggro
.

Ps. LOL @ the too cool for school attitude of those who are saying Sunday is just another game in an attempt to perpetuate a myth of "I support Reading, for my sins" indifference.

I hope you don't cry if we win Floyd. Crying is for girls. 8)

If we are winning, I will have left 5minutes before the end to join the queue for my blue and white jester's hat at the Megastore.

I must admit, a bit of wee does come out from time to time when thinking about Sunday...

fester_royal more nervous than excited.. you end up with that dual personality thing going on.. logically you suspect class will out and villa will win, but theres always that hope.. that dream that you'll get to walk up wemberly (spelling deliberate!) way for the first time since 95 wearing the hoops :D

Yes! I've been having this. One minute I'll think nah we will definately lose this game, then five minutes later I would have convinced myself that we have a chance.

the worst bit about football is the hope. it adds to the excitement but as our last season in the prem shows.. it can also lead to heart brake :(

It's not the despair, Laura. I can take the despair. It's the hope I can't stand. Apologies to John Cleese.

Ironically, I have a "Skate"(ask a scummer......) supporting work colleague who has £10 riding on a 300 to 1 bet, that Reading will win the FA Cup.

If we get to the finals...he's agreed to pay for my ticket

Bullshit.
why?
the queen mother was an arsenal fan and the queen is on record as stating so too
harry and will are also on record as saying theyre villa fans too..could be family connections to the midlands perhaps... or would you rather believe them be Reading fans?
I just thought that they are more of rugby fans as Harry was spotted watching the England team on several occasions.
i think william is a bit of a 'jock' really, he's been seen watching and playing multiple sports (it is possible to be a fan of more than one sport, i go to rugby and football games)
hasnt william also got a high powered job at the FA? i forget the role exactly but he attends meetings etc.. so given that hes a villa fan and an FA rep... what are the chances of him being there?..(would be better if harry was there, would feel more at ease singing about him..plus theres more ammo on him :D )

Ditto. My head says we'll lose narrowly on Sunday while my heart already has Kebe scoring an injury time winner against Chelsea in the final.

Am really excited now, not to mention nervous!

I dreamt about it last night and will prolly do so tonight and tomorrow night.

I'm really keyed up. Lots of support from plastic Mancs and Liverpool fans (surprisingly). It's a 4am start for me on Sunday but I really can't wait.

Oh, and anyone who isn't excited isn't a Reading fan. End of.

God you are a miserable $%&^

Why do you bother supporting Reading if you can't even get up for a game like this?

Nervous, looking forward to it, needing that extra beer, a little dread, expectation, a right mixed bag.

Oh and very tired having had no sleep. A good combination really.

ZacNaloen I'm so excited I keep thinking it's tomorrow.

Bonus footy --full Saturday Championship programme ("ours" the lone exception, of course)

I think that "we" stand to move up one place in the table if QPR (home to Albion) and Ipswich (Blackpool away) both lose

Plus "we"'d have a match in hand on the latter and two on the former

Also, Derby host Watford, Leicester play at Hillsborough, Palace host Blades, Donny play away to Brizzle, etc

Shapes up as a great day for "us" in the league, and no need to lift a finger 'cept from popcorn bowl to mouth, mm hmm
