buzzby Did anyone see Inside Out on BBC1 last night. Not sure if you have the same one as we get in the south (I'm in Portsmouth) they had a part where they were talking about how its all gone wrong since the FA cup win.
Then they went up the road to us at Reading and spoke John Madejski about how they risked the club for FA cup glory.

Just found the link to Inside Out South

Does anyone else click on this thread every day with a guilty hope that it's really gone tits up for some club? I realize it's wrong.

A little bit.

However, it's also nice to click, read and be grateful that my club isn't going up the (financial) swanny.

No kidding. I really don't wish that evil on any fans for their own sake, but I really think it's going to take a serious shock to the system to get the financial culture sorted out.

Pseud O'Nym David Sullivan, having looked at the books of 20 clubs with a view to purchase, says football finances are "Frightening":

http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_5854213,00.html

He believes one Prem and several Championship teams are on the verge of collapse.

Good, the sooner the better then just perhaps the message might start getting home to some of the plonkers that run football clubs (and support them).

I guess I do. That's awful isn't it? No wish to see any particular club (or group of fans) suffer but I'd love some of the idiots on the team board to see that what SJM and NH have done to this club (save maybe the premature sacking of BR) is for the best in the long run.

football clubs have always been run by egotists and weirdos - and I doubt too much would change if the fans were in charge...

Would anyone welcome Sullivan taking over here? Are we one of the clubs he has looked at?

do you know what...I probably would. quite like the thought of an old-fashioned British businessman taking over, not some dubiously financed American/Arab with no background in football whatsoever. Didn't leave Birmingham in a total mess when he handed over to Yeung either.

Apparently Sullivan and Madejski are good mates, however if anything was going to happen I reckon it would have done by now.

Pompey's transfer embargo stays and their TV cash goes to creditors.

Doomed.
