SLAMMED Zero. It happened to me before when they sent me a small instead of medium.

Your reputations as fan lightweights go before you both.

White kits are always boring, and suggest laziness on the part of the designers. It's as if they got as far as drawing the outline on a piece of paper, had a long liquid lunch and then drew on the green stripe 10 seconds before they had to do the presentation.

So, England and Germany employ idle kit designers and always have done? Is that what you are implying?

I've never really liked the white England kits, but they usually attempt to liven them up a bit.

I know for a fact that Waitrose were being really strict about what the away kit was going to look like....

Basically they wanted it to be green with white shorts but the club said no as nobody would buy it

The white kit will be the defacto 'third' kit in favour of the Orange one I reckon.

Very strange decision against Newcastle to wear the home blue socks for this season when last season there were orange away socks to match the away orange shirt and blue shorts. Also, we played better in all orange last season and the team often preferred that in the end, so why didn't we go for that even?

I just have, and have done for years, just wear the Robin Friday retro shirt. Never have to buy anything else.

I bought the away shirt.

The "never to be worn in competition" chic is a winner with me.

I'm not sure the white shirt in our away strip is any good if the team never get the chance to wear it. :|

Couldn't wear it at Newcastle. Too much white in their shirt, and white back panel. Swansea wear white, so...

Theres no reason why we cant wear it away from home against teams that, say, play in red etc....

I think that would have looked better than what we have.

In which case why the hell should we change strip? I know sometimes it happens (from memory I remember Bristol City doing it in 2000/2001), but if there's no reason to change strips, why bother?

Sales, I guess. More fans will possibly by an away kit if the club wears it regularly, as opposed to one that the team would seldom wear.

It is a scam. They will come out with the need to change it again rubbish because of too many clashes with home kits and it will become the third kit, and the new away kit will be all green with white writing.
