lack pre-season challenge. lack of squad depth. lack of spending. lack of (perceived) attempted spending. lack of ambition. lack of determination. lack of technical ability. lack of strength. lack of passion. thank god for antipodean goalkeeper.

FiNeRaIn no chance of promotion these season boys, woeful side.

No one in their right mind was expecting promotion though, surely? It was always going to be all change, and you just can't be that naive to expect that.

Gooding and the awful one (I forget his name, the host) are questioning where "the money" has gone on Radio Berks. I think this is a concerted effort to shave my will to live away slice-by-slice.

Swansea beat us away last year and Forest did us at our place you retard.

Spot the standard Royalee response to anyone who does not agree with his favourite Uncle Brendan. Get a life you little weasel!

Minus the insult he's hardly wrong.

Some people really need to show a bit more patience and let Brendan build the team. Promotion is the final target of another brick by brick build. Brendan is now what Pardew was to us before. The short term promotion target was last year and it failed. The club don't want to take that chance again, fair enough I say. Hate it all you want, but I don't want this club to struggle with finances next year because we held onto expensive players a season too long. I hope this plan works, we'll be stronger for it if it does.

2.8 lita injection You have to question BR team selection, leaving proven goalscorers on the bench is crazy at this level. :(

Sorry, apart from Hunt, who? And he's nobbled now. Please don't say Shane Long is anything like proven, otherwise I'll shit through my nose.

Pretty happy with our defence, though.

Only ONE player has scored against us.

Woodcote Royal Poor but, yet again!! a better result than Coppell and his favorites managed last season after nearly 5 years in charge.

I really think Church should be rested on Saturday and I'd like Tim Dellor (how Mick Gooding resists to the temptation to smack him in the mouth I don't know :| ) to baby sit so that I don't have to listen to his ill informed sh*te.

You first point is complete nonsense.

The second is absolutely bang on the money. I had to turn it off after about twenty minutes today as Dellor was so abysmal.

I've no problem with the kids coming through.

To be honest I'd rather replace the others.

how....did.... we... survive that!! Well played Fed it appears, took us all of 88 mins to get a worthy effort on goal ho hum. Next up Sheff Utd at home, and even that isnt the guaranteed 3 points anyomre given that we choked it last season at the Madjeski. Ohhhhhhhh for a goal in the league at the madjeski given that my last one i saw was home to charlton!! We cant keep chopping and changing our midfield and strike partners, this is exactly what got us into a hole last season....

I don't really rate Long. But dropping him? Insane! Church did NOTHING in the first two games. Maybe he's Brendan's Shunt! First name on the team sheet, regardless of how little he does!
