Yes the unrealistic expectations of some never cease to amaze me. Its not as if Tabb is a park player. He was Coventry's player of the season last year for Gods sake and is well able to perform well at this level.

I'm confused at the idea that we need a new defensive midfielder.

We're pretty sound defensively, it's going forward we're struggling because both our central midfielders tend to sit deep. To add another player of that type would seem pointless, and we already have the attacking players on the books, we just don't use them.

Jay Tabb should start give the lack of quality service to our strikers from Shunt and Kebe. I have every expectation that Coppell will start him. As NSR said, he was Player of the Season at Coventry last year who has the ability to do a good job for us. He's always looked a handful whenever I've seen him.
