Scarface Bringing Lita back has hardly set the world alight, so I'd go back to Doyle and NHunt which was a very fruitfull partnership early on in the season.

I'd then try and get Wallbeck on loan from Man Utd.

THought he looked poor against Derby, at fault for their goal as well.

Coppell is brilliant. I hope he stays forever, but he has to start getting the squad to be able to play 4-5-1 when required. Particularly if we go up. I like the look of...

_____________Doyle

_____________Marek
Shunt____Cisse_____Bikey____Kebe

'strong___Pearce___Doobs____Murty

______________fed

Have a look at his goal, pure quality

I think he's a better footballer than Rosenior. Liam's speed does get him out of trouble a lot of the time. Murt's passing and decision making is better.

Nah, must have missed that bit. Still a great goal doesn't equal great player. And he was at fault for Derby's

Ian, you're joking right? The kid looks awesome. Great touch, good finisher .. who cares if he can't defend when his team's three up.

Anyway, back to the topic. It's always going to be Doyle plus one ... and I'm happy with any combo as long as the service is decent. That's what we're all about. If the front two are isolated and crosses are coming in from just over the half way line (Hunt v preston) then you could have Torres and Rooney up there and they'd look rubbish.

I'm not joking. I'd stopped paying a great deal of attention by the end and missed his goal, but he didn't look impressive to me.

And I'd rather not have a player come to us who can't be arsed to track his man in the box. We don't have united's quality and aren't exactly banging them in right now. We can't afford conceeding sloppy goals.

You're all happily claiming the Welbeck is the best thing since sliced bread, despite barely having seen him play. He was deemed not ready to be sent on loan at the start of the season. Swansea's Fabian Brandy is ahead of him in the pecking order ffs!

You fellas are hard to impress!
From the snippets I've seen of him this season, I think he looks a really good prospect. But what do me and Fergie know!

He IS a really good prospect.

But he's not (yet) better than NHunt or Doyle, so getting him in on loan would do him harm!

I didn't say we needed him on loan.

But quality back up is always nice.
