SpaceCruiser Wheareas Leroy Lita's record looks like this:

2005/6 25(7) 15
2006/7 26(12) 14
2007/8 14(4) 2
2008/9 3(1) 0

I'm guessing you can't see the big problem with these stats for a manager selecting strikers for his next match..................this being that Leroy has done next to nothing for nearly 2 years.

These stats show that Lita was probably a better player than Long 2 years ago but, given that we have 5 strikers in the first team squad, he is currently struggling to justify a start in reserves............................which is why he's off on loan to Norwich.

SLAMMED
Woodcote Royal That yellow kit will go nicely with his boots.

He'll look like a bannana with some parts going out of date

Racist!

If anything he'll look like an unripe banana with the green on the kit

Although Leets has struggled to score goals for the last few months, his goal at Mad Stad v Palarse will be one of the best that we're ever likely to see on the hallowed turf.

Very easy for anyone to just come out with that. Source?

I can't see him going on loan to a League 1 club and I doubt we'd want to loan him to anyone in this league. He might be a bit of an idiot but he's one of the best strikers in this division.

Never any need for sources, looks like my footy mind is better than yours though Jay. All to do with reality, second guessing and reading between the lines.

Kieron1981 "Leroy Lita has agreed a loan move to Norwich City on loan until 1st November.

The striker has made four first team outings for the Royals without finding the target this season , and could make his Norwich debut at home to Derby on Saturday."

Cant see him staying after Jan... he will be gone

Great. Lots more of Shane Long to come then.

Stooper Also, am I right in thinking that there's an international break so it's a 2 week loan?

Nope - don't forget there's a game this weekend (before the international break).

BBC Sport The deal for the 23-year-old covers six games up to the fixture against Burnley on 1 November.

Therefore, Leroy will be eligible for the following Narch fixtures:

Saturday, 04 October 2008 - Norwich v Derby, 15:00
Saturday, 18 October 2008 - Bristol City v Norwich, 15:00
Tuesday, 21 October 2008 - Norwich v Wolverhampton, 19:45
Saturday, 25 October 2008 - Norwich v Doncaster, 15:00
Tuesday, 28 October 2008 - Derby v Norwich, 19:45
Saturday, 01 November 2008 - Burnley v Norwich, 15:00

Are East Anglian roads wide enough for either Lita's Hummer or Lita's ego?

Additional - LOL @ Lita wiping sweat from his forehead with a £50 note and then throwing it on the floor

LONG

The thing is Long has always been a super sub, adding an injection of pace and skill in the last 15 minutes

even if he doesnt score he has set countless goals up in the last 10-15 mins due to his pace

He doesnt mind sitting on the bench and waiting for his time to come, and when he is given that chance he takes it and come sometime pull a suprise out of the hat.

LITA

Lita wants to play every game, as he thinks he is good enough

2-3 seasons ago i would agree, but last season and this season he has lost his skills and doesnt seem to be the goal scoring machine we once saw

The problem is, lita still wants to be the first choice Striker and prove himself every game... which isnt going to happen as i blind man could hit the goal more than him this season

CONCLUSON

Some of you are saying get Long out on loan and keep Lita on the bench. This would be crazy as Long has the proven he can score (or assist) with only a 15 minute run on.

Fair enough he doesnt have the skill to break into the first team every week, be he has enough skill to be used as a super sub... and he doesnt mine

I say SELL Lita in the Jan window and get £1.5m-£2m for him

That is an extremely optimistic figure for a mis-firing striker with only 6 months left on his contract.

If Lita goes in January it wont be for anything like seven figures. Not with 6 months on his contract remaining. Get real.

We are going to be f**ked if Doyle or Hunt get injured.

Great work Coppell. You fuked us last season doing this. Great stuff.

As much as I am a Lita fan, if Doyle or Hunt get injured we are fcuked regardless of him being here or not.

Apart from the one on Tuesday night, give us another recent example.

Kieron1981 He doesnt mind sitting on the bench and waiting for his time to come, and when he is given that chance he takes it and come sometime pull a suprise out of the hat.

I'd rather somebody who is determined to get into the starting line up than somebody who is quite happy to sit on the bench. Being happy to sit on the bench shows no ambition.
