T.R.O.L.I. You also have to  at the so called "bargain" meal deals:

£6.00 for a pie and a pint
£3.30 for a pint of pish on its own
£2.80 for a pie on its own

A whopping 10p saving

R£ading FC

'greed, and the lager las always tasted like water anyway.
Those that waste their money on the food and drink provided, well they're fools.

bobby1413 It all adds up doesn't it?

£27 - ticket
£8 - parking for some
£3.30 - for pint at half time

= £38.30 every two weeks.

Not to mention if some choose to have a drink in town as well, or a half time pint, or a progamme. It's a hell of a lot of money for an hour and a halfs worth of entertainment on a Saturday.

Erm, you've already counted the half time pint. Also, I choose to drink in town before and after the game which means I get more than 90 minutes worth of entertainment.

Yea, true I did - my mistake. I think I meant a half-time pie.

And I paid £27 because I forgot it costs more if you pay on the day. So, in theory I could have got the Plymouth ticket for £23.

LOL @ moaning about the price of things you either don't have to buy or can easily buy elsewhere.

Some people would quite litteraly moan about anything.

No, you can smile smugly as you tuck in to your home-prepared cheese sandwich and carton of ribena.

cmonurz So eat a yoghurt.

I thought yoghurt was good for thrush and unaware of soothing properties for a sore throat!

Unless they maybe an issue of oral thrush?

Well it's smooth. I can't see how beer soothes a throat other than it being cold.

So eat a cold yoghurt.

It's the anaesthetic qualities of a number of beers that does the trick.

Wycombe Royal My matchday experience costs:
Ticket: £18.48
Parking: Free
Food: Free (bring my own)
Drink: £1.90

Total: £20.38

I don't think that is unreasonable.

Jesus you make me feel guilty about my home trips!

Return train from London: £20
Ticket: £23
Bus: £3
Pre match drinks: £10
Half time pint: £3
Food somewhere: £5
Post match drinks: £10

Total: £74

Then back to London for the evening to waste more cash! No wonder I seem to have more money from June-September...

You have to laugh at the 'special' offers on show, if we were worried about saving money then we would not be going to overpriced football matches.

Half time is always a time to catch up with mates split up and spread out all over the place.
Get a beer or not.
Never been a problem.

No me too- when I read your response

The whole thread is CW that is the point! No one forces people to go to the Mad Stad or buy the beer. If you dont like the prices dont pay them.

rfcjoe Over here in Germany the alcohol is cheap tbh.

I don´t know where you drink in Germany, but here in Hamburg it costs a small fortune to have a pint. God bless the Naafi.
