£3.30 for a pint of shitty fosters in a plastic glass, %10 rise on last year, thats good bye to my half time refreshment, is it actually a private catering company that sets the prices?

No it's JM. You should see the prices in the Player's Lounge.

Yeah a bit miffed about the price rise , especially after having to pay the increase in parking at HP ( £8 now .... an increase of around 14% ) ...
After trying 4 pints on sat ( all returned ) i got a refund

It all adds up doesn't it?

£27 - ticket
£8 - parking for some
£3.30 - for pint at half time

= £38.30 every two weeks.

Not to mention if some choose to have a drink in town as well, or a half time pint, or a progamme. It's a hell of a lot of money for an hour and a halfs worth of entertainment on a Saturday.

You also have to  at the so called "bargain" meal deals:

£6.00 for a pie and a pint
£3.30 for a pint of pish on its own
£2.80 for a pie on its own

A whopping 10p saving

The price is ridiculous but I've never quite understood the attraction of a pint at half time in a game that only lasts 90 mins. Is your matchday experience that enhanced by paying through the nose to shovel down a pint of piss water inside 10 mins?

1 pint of piss? You are Spacey AICMFP.

Seriously it makes no sense to me. Get pissed before yeah, get pissed afterwards yeah but what difference is a half time pint gonna make other than in your wallet and your bladder?

Purely playing devil's advocate - surely if you have a few jars before the game and start to feel the effects then two hours without booze will cause the tiredness to set in?

My matchday experience costs:
Ticket: £18.48
Parking: Free
Food: Free (bring my own)
Drink: £1.90

Total: £20.38

I don't think that is unreasonable.

It's not to add to the match day experience. My throat needs some lubrication ready for another half of shouting, cheering and singing.
