Just going to trundle up to the ticket office to give them my new debit card details. What fun

gh7901 Just tried to buy a ticket for Palace, but both my credit card and debit card are 'refused' - funny that because they work everfywhere else
Why is everything connected with the club such complete SHIT

Anyone else get this? Its not that I have to put something in the issue number field is it? (neither of my cards have one). Ive tried 0 and it still doesnt work

Yep. I tried to order another Charlton ticket today and all 3 of my cards were refused (Maestro, Solo & Mastercard). Phoned up and the bloke who answered seemed to know (or had assumed) that I had ordered online and had been refused.

The new online ticketing

Is this a nightmare for anyone? I'm trying to get myself a ticket for Charlton at the same time of buying both mine and my Dad's tickets for Crystal Palace, but it's having none of it.

Club Policies. I believe there's a thread on there already.

Is that for you to decide? What a pointless post.

It got even worse, I wasn't even able to get the home tickets in the end and had to call up. This club really is moving backwards in every way.

I had no such problems in getting a ticket for the Plymouth and Crystal Palace games.

Still no visible Royalty point total or full names / points of members linked to yourself (as with the old system). How long has this been going on for now?

Nothing wrong with me. Been able to renew ST, away games and able to enter in my card details without any problems.

The front page of the online ticketing site Supporters should be aware that we are currently experiencing issues displaying "Royalty Point" Total Balances on-line and are working to resolve this shortly. In the meantime to obtain your total balance please e-mail memberservices@readingfc.co.uk or call during opening hours the Ticket Office on 0844 249 1871

what you can do is look at your Purchase History where it shows how many royalty points you got for each game
it is then the simple matter of adding these points together to get your total - use a calculator if you struggle with numbers

I thought that was what computers were for and I had assumed that the ticketing system ran on one but perhaps I was wrong.

You are having a laugh. My purchase history runs to 57 pages. I am amazed how long it is taking the club to sort this one out
