Alan Partridge It's not that he's a Hunt honest, He's 5'10 and imo not significantly better than our other 3, it doesn't make a great deal of sense to me. Certainly no Kitson replacement, if we sign him and 1 other 'target man' then fair enough I would be satisfied with that.

I obviously need to go to Specsavers because from the bits I have seen on TV he looks about 5ft 7ins.
I suppose Scottish defenders could all be 8 ft tall which makes him just look smaller.
Seeing him on TV he looks about as tall as Paul Dickov so somebody tell me that Dickov is 6ft tall.
Still if he plays then obviously our style will be a quickfire passing game along the ground (will it f***).

I think when I looked earlier Soccerbase had him at 5'8

An answer that satisfies both is 5'9" +/- 1"

And what's 5 cm between friends?

Arch It's a signing, that's all (if it happens, of course). Just like Kebe was a signing, Matejovski, Fae, etc, etc. I never took the view that Kebe was signed as a direct replacement for an ailing Little; he was just a 400k addition to the squad. Fae and Matejovsky were international midfielders from respectable national teams; potentially decent signings, not direct replacements for Sidwell. Cisse this time last year, a signing. The fact that Hunt doesn't address a specific need (i.e. A Kitson-like player) is neither here nor there in our assessment of this signing. So criticize the club all you like for not getting a Kitson clone, but don't get on Hunt's case before he's even here. If he has his brother's commitment coupled with good finishing, he'll be a good acquisition at the price. To be booing Hunt already because he's not Kitson is as irrational as booing Kebe because he's not Little.

He's not not Kitson he's not John Oster that's who he's not. See he's wearing No.11.

He did score an absolute belter against Rangers last season (turn and shot....lovely stuff!). On the basis that the Rangers CBs are better than Championship CBs, I calculate that he will score noel-less than 32 goals next season.

I'd be fairly happy if he returned about 15. Thats about as many as Forster usually managed and he was pretty popular.

You have to be pretty special to get 20 and above in the chumpionship

Am I right in saying none of our players have ever got 20 in the championship?

Are you only counting league goals or do cup goals count as well?

League goals.

And Morley and Richardson weren't in the championship!

Forster, Doyle and Kitson didn't get 20 did they?

Morley got 21 + 2 cup.
Kitson got 18 plus 3(?) cup slightly fewer the season before, but not sure what the split was.
Doyle got less.
Forster didn't get much above 15 iirc. 17 in fact.

Championship/Division 1/Division 2. It's all the same. You can't arbitrarily decide goals scored in the same league under a different name don't count.

Ok so Morley did it and RB said that Richardson did it.

This backs up your point IR.

15 is a very good tally in the championship.
