It's not that he's a Hunt honest, He's 5'10 and imo not significantly better than our other 3, it doesn't make a great deal of sense to me. Certainly no Kitson replacement, if we sign him and 1 other 'target man' then fair enough I would be satisfied with that.

I suppose Scottish defenders could all be 8 ft tall which makes him just look smaller.

If he has his brother's commitment coupled with good finishing, he'll be a good acquisition at the price. He did score an absolute belter against Rangers last season (turn and shot....lovely stuff!). On the basis that the Rangers CBs are better than Championship CBs, I calculate that he will score noel-less than 32 goals next season.

Kitson got 18 plus 3(?) cup slightly fewer the season before, but not sure what the split was.
Doyle got less.
Forster didn't get much above 15 iirc. 17 in fact.

Championship/Division 1/Division 2. It's all the same. You can't arbitrarily decide goals scored in the same league under a different name don't count.
