Of course they don't only go for one player, but when your best players start leaving, with not even a sniff of a rumour that someone as good or better will be replacing them, it makes you think that maybe we won't have a team that will be able to fight for a top 6 place come the end of the season, let alone automatic relegation.Blue and White Toucanby Royal Lady on 18 Jul 2008 09:05
I bet if news had leaked earlier that Kitson wanted away and he would probably even join Stoke in order to achieve his aim, season ticket renewals would have been a lot less.
Do that many people go to football to see ONE player?? If he joins Stoke if will purely be for the money, and you can not blame him for that.
It won't be for the football as Pulis will continue with the long ball and Stoke will be relegated next season.

We are all getting worked up about 'our Dave' leaving and I for one will be sad to see him go, but if we get £5million for him, Coppell (contrary to belief) is no fool and he will look for another centre forward type, if he does not already have a target in mind. I don't think they will let Kitson go unless we have a replacement in mind.
I remember feeling the same way when I heard that Kerry Dixon was leaving and he was being replaced by some bloke called Senior!!!!!
Its not always bad when a player leaves!!!!
What on earth are you basing that on?
History would suggest exactly the opposite.

Maguire It'll be at least the end of the month before they manage to track down Michael Meaker's whereabouts.

Blue and White Toucan We still have 4 wide players in Hunt, Convey, Henry(given a chance in place of Oster - can't be worse can he?) and Kebe. As we will always have 4 strikers.

PlatypussRoyal Rother Relax - this deal isn't going to happen.
It was all so inevitable once this had happened.
Royal Rother I really think this is just so much crap. £4m for Kitson I could just about live with, but only just, but £2m +£2m based on Stoke's performances in the PL, when it seems highly likely they will pick up bugger all points, seems completely out of the question.
Relax - this deal isn't going to happen.

Kebe was always here in case Little didn't make it back or left. (Doesn't mean he is good enough - jury still out)
