southsideroyal I really thought a late equalizer was coming. Sounded like Cisse played well there in the end.
Did this all start as a training session for 4-5-1?
Could well be ready for Man utd

Ian Royallondinium Try watching the highlights tonight before people pass judgement on individual performances as listening to bbc radio London which is very Spurs biased it sounded much a different game from how you loy have reported it from listening to radio Berks or 107
I'm not passing judgement on the game, I'm giving up defending Lita's on the pitch performances. He didn't even hit the sodding target tonight, let alone score a goal.

Ian... how can you judge it from what you hear on the radio... bbc London were very complimentary towards him, for even getting the efforts on target from tight angles... strange if radio Berks made them sound simple... from radion London they said Cox only had to head it down to score,,,what did they say on Berks or 107

Ian Royallondinium I guess it is all Lita's fault that we lost... nothing to do with Cox missing our best chance!!
Oh come on, how can you blame Cox for missing one chance when Lita cocked up about 10.

79Royal From what I heard, there were good performances tonight. At the very least, the 'first 11' will have to look over their shoulders.

londinium ok.. read how you will...lets just slag Lita off on yet another thread... sounded like he put himself about more than Long from the commentary I listened to. Along with not making stupid mistakes or shit crosses like De La Cruz, Ivar or Shorey..lets not slate them though.
Well done Rosenior and Feds...sounded like they played well

Ian Royal Cox sounded lively and I'm willing to bet would have put away at least 1 of Lita's chances.

didn't hear De La put a foot wrong, Shorey some poor dead ball deliveries and not a great game but not that bad, Ivar quiet but no glaring mistakes that I heard.
Long was dead quiet in the 1st half but came much more to life in the 2nd when he presumably moved upfront from the wing. Always does better against tiring players anyway.
I defended Lita after Newcastle, I thought he had a decent game barring the 2 big misses, but as I said he had plenty of chances and failed to hit the target with any that I heard. He also seems to have a big attitude problem and wants away. Well thats fine with me. Cox sounded lively and I'm willing to bet would have put away at least 1 of Lita's chances.

Why exactly? He couldn't put away his own!
And you never even saw any of the chances.
There's bias, and there's Ian RoyaLOL bias.

Completely different commentary from Radio London.. They said Lita was lively, De La made a couple of big mistakes that Pearce got him out of trouble, Long quiet all game bar 1 or 2 crosses, nothing coming from Convey all game either.
One thing they both agree on was the fact that Spurs where shite second half and also that Cox had a good game, bar his tame header.

his 1 chance that he missed? Which by the way, he hit the target with. That being our first shot on target all game.

Surely the fact that it was down the keepers throat makes it no different to a shot miles off target, where I would say that Hunts was closer as it hit the bar with the keeper all ends up but doesnt get registered as on target

It's a fair point, but personally I'd rather see a player hit a tame shot on target than send shot after shot wide or over. I certainly won't argue that Hunt's was a much better effort.
I'd put them in this order:
Miles off target<weak straight at keeper~couple of feet high or wide<hard at keeper<just wide or over<within keeper's easy reach<woodwork<GOAL!!!!!

londinium Nearly time for our 2 minutes of action on MOTD so I will be able to pass judgement after that.
