       If there is a positive about bringing in someone totally from "outside" the England camp, then it will be that everyone starts with an equal chance of selection; Capello is unlikely to have any favorites or to feel beholden to individuals as was the case with the last 2 Managers.
That, together with the hope that, from now on, players will get picked because of their form rather than their reputations, must mean that any English player playng well should have a chance for selection.
Therefore, the litmus test for Capello will be if Kits does get a call up or not (as long as he maintains his form) as this will show that he is serious about selecting players who will play for the shirt and not those who see playing for the National side as merely a method to increase their earning potential.
