Seol

by rollsy » 17 Apr 2007 21:39

now i know that this one has been covered to death but during the past couple of matches don't you think that seol has earned his place back in the side. he was poor and could not be bothered, this is well known but for my money he has tried his hardest to get himself back in to the first team squad, i think a little to hard at times with a one man army approach, but considering, you cant blame the man fo that.

any hoo, would you put him back in the first team?

Seol needs to up his workrate over 90 minutes thats for sure.I dont know if its a lack of fitness or plain cant be arsedyness but he `disapears` for vast swathes of the game and im not convinced we can afford such a luxery.
Now if Hunty can slip him a bit of whatever makes him tick we would have quite an act.
Seol clearly has ability in short bursts but I for one wouldnt be too depressed were Sir Steve to allow him to strut his stuff(sporadically)elsewhere.

Not if he continues to show a complete lack of effort. If he fulfills his potential then yes, but at the moment that seems unlikely.

Oster showed his worth with his appearance at the weekend, if that doesn't get him in the side, nothing will.

Oster proved why he is a bench warmer against Fulham. Seol has played well in the last two and deserves to keep his place, he will start against Bolton

Seoul

No way should he be in the team-get rid! He rarely gets past the fullback and takes too long to make the cross.dreadful workrate eg against Fulham-Bryn won the ball and knocked it in front of Seoul but he simply could not be arsed and the ball went out. We looked a lot better when oster came on.

On current performances then yes, in Little's absence of course.
Much improved of late and deserves a chance to prove the doubters wrong!

I got a feeling he will score a West Ham-esque 25 yard screamer on Saturday.

he has been much better the last few games, back to his start of season form, worked hard tackled back, won the ball in our own half on a couple of occasions, what are you on about
played the bast pass ive seen this year at the madejski

"eg against Fulham-Bryn won the ball and knocked it in front of Seoul but he simply could not be arsed and the ball went out. We looked a lot better when oster came on."

that was a bad pass, and wasnt worth chasing,
