As per my prediction, I thought a 'no change' policy was obvious, and probably the right one. I hope it does mean that Coppell is given a pretty free hand to recruit in the summer, that they don;t raise the prices of car parking and programmes to make up for it, and that the expansion is done properly and no corners are cut !

My line is that at least RFC has recognised that they'd be criticised by all and sundry if they'd dared to put prices up, and thank god they've not had the sheer brass neck to try and do that.

This is outrageous. I thought they would follow some of the other teams in the premiership and reduce them.

After all next season we're going to be fighting a relegation battle.

The only teams that have reduced them are teams that struggle to sell out anyway, or often have gates a few thousand below a full house.

I think its good, but the club could be trying to cover up their sizable price hikes last year with a 'goodwill gesture' like this.

I was resigned to a freeze, although I still believe that the club could have afforded to knock off some of the price with the TV revenue.

I'm not going to hanging out the bunting for this, but at least it's not a price rise either.

It would have been nice if the goodwill/addditional income could have extended to cover at least a reduction in concession prices.

For those who pay in instalments it will end up costing more though as it's been handed over to a finance company.

So I guess that means people will have to find their own way of funding it....if they want free credit.

Why? Concessions are a bloomin' site cheaper than the full adult rate as it is and most pensioners I know, and young adults for that matter, have far more disposal income than your average man/woman with a mortgage around their necks.
