What on earth does that mean ?
Is sticking the ball in the back of the net not considered interfering with play in LaLa Mirrorland ?

He wasn't simply standing - he made a definate movement towards the ball and goal. Defoe was onside when he received the ball, so (unless the lino simply made a mistake) it was ruled out because Berbatov was stood offside.

I was not referring to the big fees these players cost - I was referring to the fact that they came from clubs who were reluctant to sell these players to us. Hardly car boot sales.
