by A1ndy » 29 Mar 2007 09:38

Dont know if their is another thread for this...Couldnt see one so apologies if their is.

All played well for the Irish last night, fair play boys!!

Good goal by Doyle aswell, Long missed a very good chance in the second half from a Hunt cross.

Doyle will be brimming with confidence going into Sundays big game away at the Lane!

Well done Boys!

Says nothing about Doyle's goal last night and that they all played.

Very poor attempt at a Dodding sir.

Irvinchangeyaname What a header. Just hope nobody else is watching!

bent copper Doylers goal is the best header I have seen in a while. How many strikers
get in front of the defender like that.Hunt and Long played well when they came on also.McGeady gets lots of praise for his fist touch and skill.Hunt gets credit for having "great spirit".Yet again Hunt has a far bigger impact on the game.

Had hoped all 3 were on at the same time.

A rare (unique ?) moment that would have been !!

Correct me if I am wrong but this must have been the first time in RFC history an International team had 3 Reading players in the team (on the pitch)

IF only Roy Castle was still around !! :)

Only possible era I can think of would have been Williams / Hopkins / Nogan / Bodin / Legg / Bowen is some permutation for Wales but have no confidence that it did happen !!

was excellent to see all of them have a good game and also for doyle to get the winning goal which proved to be the only one ! Long could have also got on the scoresheet as well which would have been good. And also hunt looked like he caused havoc when he came on and put in some superd crosses.
