Mr Holt in U-Turn shocker

NOW MAD ABOUT READING
OLIVER HOLT SPORTS JOURNALIST OF THE YEAR AGAIN
Oliver Holt 28/02/2007

DUE in equal measure to the death threats, the abuse and the snivelling of a cheerleader masquerading as a journalist from BBC Radio Berkshire, I've seen the error of my ways about Reading.

I'm considering a radical U-turn and 10 years of penitence at the feet of that gentle angel Stephen Hunt and the great intellectual Steve Coppell, who illustrated his capacity for articulate debate last week by saying he would wipe his a**e on this column.

I've had a rethink about the legacy of chairman John Madejski, too. Why stop at naming the stadium after the guy? I think we should go further: Reading itself should be renamed Madejskiville. As for Berkshire, that's a bit old-fashioned for me. From now on, let it be known as Madejskia. I'm sure the great man wouldn't object.

Oh dear. I've seen better playground stuff from my 9-year old.

He really should have quit while he had an edge, he's just making himself look foolish now.

He has the Journalistic prowess of a dead parrot ...

Talk about a little boy who has no life.

Holt you are a very sad little man and if you would like an intellectual debate please contact me and we can have a debate. I will take a decent supply of dummies to replace the ones that you spit out

I wonder if he got beaten up a lot at school.
He's got some kind of problem and I think most people are now starting to feel sorry for him.

Oliver holt has been practicing at being an idiot - one day I feel he will truly succed.

Steve Coppell was not debating - he was making "comment", and delivered his comment in a far funnier way then the esteemed Oliver Holt could ever do. Has Mr Holt forgotten that his column is just comment not the "debate " that he is expecting of Steve. In fact if Mr holt was any more esteemed - he would be esteaming pile of shit.

He's actually managed to write a worse article.

He attempted it with snow white and the seven stretchers, but even that was poor, no you're right, it was sensationalist journalism and a few cheap shots to sell papers. Let's be honest we all fell for it because we've read the article and are talking about it on here, have written emails in complaint. So he's got what he wants, a reaction, in that respect he's a clever journalist, he set the trap and we fell straight in it.

Doyler , it was sensationalist journalism and a few cheap shots to sell papers..

I hate that term, does it? Do you buy a regular paper, or do you buy a paper because of something that's on the front or back cover?

Most people I know, buy the same paper everyday, so I can't see how something that somebody writes in his column is going to sell more papers on one particular day??

Coppell saying he'd use his newspaper column to wipe his arse with still makes me chuckle. Not the sort of thing you expect Steve to say which makes it even funnier.

Windymiller What is his problem with John Madejski?

Is he just jealous because he'll only ever have a column named after him?

He really is a bitter, twisted and pathetic individual.

He calls his penis Oliver Holt as well
