The Surgeon of Crowthorne Er I thought it was the fourth official's job?

I'm surprised we don;t see six more often, in that case.westendgirlThe Surgeon of Crowthorne Er I thought it was the fourth official's job?
No his job is just to tell all the rest of us. I sit near the dug-outs and it is fun to read the hand signals from the ref to the 4th official which, if you do, means that you know before evertone else![]()
Most just hold the relevant number of fingers out down the side of their shorts whilst running past the 4th official - I am sure there will be a few rude comments about that but not sure how else to describe it. It may account for the fact that it is seldom more than 4

royals pete FULLY EXPECTED 8 mins to go up.
But 3-1 scoreline at 17/1 I'm happy !!
Did Ref come away with any credit for sending Gillespie through a ruck of players to the red card !! I don't think so. Recipe for disaster.
