You get ten points for Burnley at home and only 5 for Newcastle away on a wednesday night? thats not fair!

Not fair but entirely understandable from an RFC point of view....a full MadStad is far more important to the Club's finances than a full away end at Newcastle.

Diddyroyal So you are saying that by giving 10 loyalty points for the Burnley game you are going to fill the Mad Stad? did not look like that yesterday? how about the club slash the prices considerably , and we would fill the stadium for cup games

The 17 Bus Why should ST holders get full priority over other competions other than the League?

I don't know, significant upfront financial commitment to the club maybe?

royals pete Bit of a question mark over the pricing policy for cup games.
I'm not absolutely certain, but something tells me that it is the away club which has the main say on bottom price to be charged. This is supposed to protect them for a decent take
50% of £20 is better than 50% of a £5er, but then who knows what the gate would be .
If they had manU away, prices might have been less ???

Dirk Gently Usually, lower-league away clubs tend to push for a higher price - as gate money is split 45% to each team (with 10% to the FA central pool)

You've got to love the vagueness of the FA Central Pool haven't you? Far be it from me to suggest that the guardians of our national game are corrupt and/or incompetent but I'd love to know where that money goes; spent on paperclips for Soho Square perhaps, or does this 'unique way in which the FA is funded' contribute towards keeping Brian Barwick in vol-au-vents for a season?
I wouldn't trust the FA to run a bath personally and I think I'd rather 10% of the MadStad gate receipts on Tuesday night went towards Reading Central Pool than the FA.

Because those are the terms offered to you when you buy a ST. Priority for Home cup games is included in the price.

Which is why I said that they shoudl be changed, but not half way through a season.
