The Next Round

by The 17 Bus » 06 Jan 2007 16:14

As the draw will now be known pre match, if we get Man U or another great draw I hope that the club give priority to those that attend tuesdays game.

Priority will go to STHs as normal, and rightly so.

Completely agree. Whilst I'm a ST holder so don't care either way, I think priority tickets for later rounds of the cup should go to those who can be bothered to turn up for the early round(s)

hmmm looking at the Terms and Conditions and there are not rally any guarantee of seats being for ST holders for cup games, just that they will get a chance first.

Tho if at home and a big team then £35 will put some off.

I would be nice if the club gave priority to those that passed through the turnstiles today - rather than those that attend on Tuesday who only buy tickets to give them a chance for any potential glamour tie...

any fans with a ticket to todays game will be sensible if they wait untill after the draw before taking a refund.

And this follows after last season when under 7k RFC fans attended the early rounds of the League Cup, then suddenly everyone wanted to go to Highbury.

This is possibly something that needs looking into by STAR and the club for the future, a policy needs to be drawn up.

True!
And that really applies more to Burnley fans making the trip two times in four days.

I'm sure any ticket sales will be done on Royalty points only of course and won't take into account attendance in previous rounds.

Agreed. Also gives those who failed to get a season ticket, but still attended matches regulary, the chance to see the bigger clubs, even if it is their reserves.
