Norwich are going to sell Earnshaw in January I am reliably informed.

However, he is not exaclty a target man as he is only about three feet tall.

With Lita able to jump like an NBA basketball player, I think our search for a target man is over.

Which reminds me last years NBA slam dunk winner was only 5 foot 10 so you see even small guys can be target men too.

Spud Webb one of the greatest dunkers ever in the NBA was only 5 foot 6

Lower West Don't forget Bobby Zamora. Once Dean Ashton is back Zamora will be excess to requirements. Coppell may be the manager to get the best out of him.

Can't beleive it took till the 3rd page.

Zamora will come in the transfer window. Hes always been touted as wanting to work with SC again, and its only been our position and his security that has stopped it. Everything fits now...

The whole year inn John Carew

You took the letters out of my keyboard. He is about 6´7", dark as the Ace of s*****,but holds a Norwegian passport. Very strong holds the ball up well had a couple of good seasons at Valencia, seem to remember him saying he would like to give the Prem a try. Think he is in France now must be about 28.

Not many Norwegians who can be described in that way, was not sure of the work permit position as luckily for Norway it is not in the European Union. He has played in Spain and France without problems, but think he is no longer playing for Norway.

Also like to take the Michael out of politically correct twats. Heard the latest ? People feeding the ducks on a river or lake could soon be fined for throwing litter.

Seems to be some doubt as to whether Kevin Davies will renew his contract at Bolton. Good target man, holds the ball up well and has a good work rate.

Anthony Stokes. On loan to Falkirk from Arsenal. Been banging them in. Maybe risky due to lack of Prem experience but offset by the fact Wegner has seen enough in him to keep him and put him out on loan so he stays fit and improves. Possibly one for the future though.

Anthony Stokes is Irish, so he certainly fit into Reading's strike force

According to Arsenal's web site, he's just scored back-to-back hat tricks at Falkirk.

Nugent won't leave Preston unless they have a dramatic slump in form before January. Would we have sold Doyle or Kitson in Janaury last year? And would they have even wanted to leave to a club uncertain of Premiership survival when they would have been unsure of a starting place when they could be in the Prem with their current side next season? Perhaps in the Summer though if we stay up.

Eastwood I think will be over priced for what he is. This is his first championship season and he has only scored 6 goals so far, admittedly for a poor side though. He is being outscored by Curo at the moment!

Having said that I can't think of anyone else. We may have to settle for eastwood.

Lets get him back then.

Interesting thought...if Charlton are still in the sh*t, has anyone thought about Darren Bent? Unlikely, but a thought nonetheless.

Boro also have some good strikers who may want to leave in the transfer window. Another very long shot, but Yakubu maybe? About as likely as fire in space actually!!

Thinking about Charlton, a proven target man would be Marcus Bent...not getting much of a look in, but is more than capable of holding his own in the Prem, and seeing as he'd only be backup for Kits that's what we need.
