Permanent maybe, there's potential there. Loan is a hard no - we already have one young promising loanee and need an experienced option.

Yeah, if it was a perm signing, would be more onboard with this - feel it would be a bit of a waste of a loan spot.

I really would like us to bring in a perm signing striker - I know loan players are part and parcel of being a L1 team but I would really prefer us to have an experienced striker on the books if at all possible.

Still think he was on course for 10 - 15 league goals before his injury last time which would be a great return for an 18 year old. Then one loan that didn't work out at Blackpool and he's been set back almost 2 years.

Didn't make a lot of impact at Cambridge either.

Have to wonder whether that injury has stopped his development in its tracks.
