Thats a shortened version, his full name is Omogbolahan Ariyibi although his middle name is Gregory.. And yes, before the usual suspects ask, he is American.

I didn't realise McCleary was free in a years time. Looking at wingers seems a lot more sensible now. He's on big wages, as is William's who is a free in 12 months. I don't expect either to be here then. (sadly regarding McCleary, pleasingly regarding Williams)

Championship side Reading are rumoured to be interested in signing Chesterfield winger Gboly Ariyibi.

The Spireites and USA U23 star made 41 appearances for the club last season and found the back of the net three times.

Ariyibi is also believed to be attracting interest from Oxford, but the size of any transfer bid is unclear.

At times he looked unplayable in League One and was involved in 10 goals, scoring three of those himself.

Ariyibi entered talks with the club to extend his Chesterfield FC contract, which runs out at the end of the 2016/17 season, last month.
