This one has been going for weeks and wont go away. We know McCarthy is good enough to be number one here, so in the summer someone will go. Hopefully Federici. Plus he's on big wages, so if we go down then it's almost definitely him. I can't see Camp wanting to be number two though. We'd almost be better keeping Taylor on.

I thought Anderson was off, after he came out and said he wanted to return home? Then surely Camp would be our new number two?

Perhaps, but will he want to drop to a number two? I wouldn't. I'd rather play every week.

Come on, since when has that matter to the majority of footballers. Don't their agents have fee's they need to be earning? If it's increased bunce, then it's money that does the talking, not playing time! As sad as that sounds...

Sadly true. Also worth bearing in mind Taylor will probably go at the end of the season. Andersen as you say is unsettled, and we can't keep Feds and Macca happy now; so there could be a bit if chopping and changing in this position.

Mikkel Anderson has hinted he wants off for some time now.

A terrible blog linked us to Camp and Blackburn's Paul Robinson. I imagine SSN have "picked it up" from there.

Andersen wants to leave permanently, sadly.

Really dont want Lee Camp. Average Championship goalie.

Surely with Federici and Taylor we're okay until the end of the season. with McCarthy back towards the end of the season (v.unlikely, read next season) we should have enough to get through. That's what Taylor was brought in for.

This for sure, not good enough for our first team and unlike Taylor wouldn't be happy to sit on the bench.

I imagine Taylor is getting increasingly twitchy that he might actually be expected to play at some point :D

He's a free. If we are interested then he'll be here soon. I just can't see him accepting a number two role here.

Its a bit odd - why would they offer a free to their no.1 keeper?!

He's been unhappy for a while. McGoldrick slept with his wife, according to the locals.. Is he a free in the summer anyway? He would probably cost less to take off their hands now than the wages he'd earn, so makes more sense to let him go if he wants to get away that badly.
