Who do you think we were looking at out of that lot?

Schmeichel? Trotter? Wood? Batt (promising striker)? Vardy?

Looks like we are preparing for life in the championship then! Thought we wanted experienced premier league players?

Selling Antonio was a bit rash too.

The Prem players will be the loan signings I suspect. Any perm deals with be Championship players or that standard ready for a promotion push next season.

Antonio going wasn't rash. He forced a loan the previous season because he'd had enough of being on the bench, and he forced his sale to Wednesday as well. Look at the players we have in his position and I can't see how he could have stayed here any longer. He was no better or worse than what we have.

We need premiership experience yet you regard selling a player with next to no experience above League One as rash?

Even if we lose two of our wingers- and let's face it, unless they improve dramatically/stay fit (Kebe), who is going to want them?- we'll still have two more experienced and better wingers than Antonio, plus Obita.

Retrospectively, I'd much rather have had Henry than McCleary, but I don't think it would have made much difference.

Well, Antonio is not setting the world alight at Hillsborough this season. But what the hell, why worry about evidence based discussion.

Fair enough we need to upgrade our midfield, but do we really think he still has it? Sounds like the cheap option to me.

Reading playing fantastic - I think not! Dont pick on players who havnt been given a run in the team. Pick on Jobi! :o
