Thanks maffff, but Feds can't be released and be here next season. The keeper situation will be an interesting one this summer. Also in for not caring too much who goes. I'm expecting another bumpy ride next season.

.......... the other Federici :?

I meant to say that I think he might stay but it wouldn't surprise me if he left.

Sasima - "The manager is a very wily fox. I would estimate a lot of change in the summer."

He's just another Jay Tabb. Tries hard, looks busy but ultimately not good enough.

Apart from being quite short they are literally nothing alike.

If you were going to compare Kuhl to anyone it would have to be Norwood, which probably explains we he isn't getting any game time either.

I really don't think that there is a single player we couldn't afford to lose.

Think Hector, Obita and Williams could be important for us. Would take over the odds offers for either of the first two and consider decent offers for Williams given his likely TSI based wage.

I would be saying to the likes of Fed, Pearce and Karacan. Heres whats on offer, its a lot less than what you currently get....take it or leave with our best wishes.

Would be happy to see us try to sign Mackie (wage/fee depending), failing that signings with his level of work rate would be good.

Happy to release all others out of contract

Have a feeling Clarke will try to move Cox on, Vague feeling they had a falling out at WBA (probably wrong though)

Based on that would not be unhappy with

Feds/Andersen (depending on who will accept a realistic wage...GK's are replaceable more than any other position at our level).
Gunter (already signed I think), Hector, Obita, Pearce (reduced terms dependent when up for renewal), Cooper. Back ups from u21s
McCleary, Williams, Karacan (reduced terms dependent), Norwood, A decent left winger, back ups from u21s
Pog (can't see him leaving, don't blame him), A couple of other decent strikers, back up from u21s

Nobody is irreplaceable if the fee is right

Forget clear out, there's not a single senior striker at the club who wouldn't be put down if they were a race horse.

My top priorities to let go would be:
Pogrebnyak, Robson-Kanu, Blackman, Akpan, Gunter, Ferdinand, Kelly, Yakubu & Knight.
Only three of those don't involve payouts and I still don't understand why we even signed two of them in the first place, along with Ferdinand.

The players out of contract are:
Karacan, Pearce, Federici, Andersen, Samuel, Kelly, Mackie, Chalobah, Ake.

We could just about conceivably find ourselves with a squad (barring new signings) of:

GK: Lincoln, Henly, Ward
RB: Gunter, Long
LB: Obita, Griffin
CB: Hector, Keown
CB: Cooper, Ferdinand
MC: Williams, Norwood, Kuhl
MC: Akpan, Tshibola
RW: McCleary, Stacey
LW: Robson-Kanu, Blackman
ST: Pogrebnyak, Novakovich
ST: Cox, Cardwell
