windermere_royal Southampton chairman Nicola Cortese resigned today, if the manager carries out his threat and follows him, anyone think they may make a move to get NA back into the hot seat? its clear their fans have a lot more regard for him than some of the dicks on this board.
Even though he was dumped I`m convinced he would jump at the chance to go back there.

Adkins was quick enough to jump into the turmoil of our relegation battle, writing it off and trying to give himself the opportunity to be a hero. So I fully expect him to throw his hat in the ring down on the South Coast.Agent Baltiwindermere_royal Southampton chairman Nicola Cortese resigned today, if the manager carries out his threat and follows him, anyone think they may make a move to get NA back into the hot seat? its clear their fans have a lot more regard for him than some of the dicks on this board.

Doubtful. Plus what manager would really want to jump into that turmoil?

Someone who wants to jump out of less turmoil here?

winchester_royal Doubt they'll even try tbh. And even if they did, despite what some think of him NA is very much a man of honour, and I'd say it's unlikely he'd jump ship half way through a project to return to a club that sacked him little over a year ago. Of course if our own ownership saga takes a turn for the worse that may change..

Genuinely serious question, on what do you base the "NA is very much a man of honour" remark?

Mainly I suppose on the reputation he has down this way. He lives in Winchester and you won't find anyone round here with a bad word to say about him.
Also the way he carried himself through the whole drama at Saints, and the fact that he's got on with the job here despite quite obviously being sold down the river by AZ.
I could be wrong of course, but I've seen nothing to suggest he's anything other than a good guy. Apart from his 'perma-tan' and use of cliches in interviews of course.
