Weekend football 17/18/19 Jan

Another big weekend at the top. I think one of United or Liverpool will get a draw, tough games for them. Villa and Arsenal also with tough games as they battle for 4th.

Injurys galore at United. No Rio, Evra, Brown, Hargreaves or Rooney and the outstanding Evans a doubt meaning an outside chance that the twins may both start the game which brings me to my next question.

Who were the last twin brothers to play in the Premier League?

papereyes Holdsworths?

Was Dean Holdsworth's brother called David? I remember him, maybe just not his name lol.

Did he play in the Premier League with Sheffield United? I can't recal who else he was with that may have seen Premier League football.

I read an "interesting" article about the Holdsworth - apparently they've had a number of "symmetrical" injuries; ie one injuries the left anterior cruciate ligament then the other the right posterior cruciate ligament, &c. Was quite bizarre.

1526: What's this? A fan wanders onto the pitch at Reebok Stadium and stand in the centre circle waving a red and white scarf about. The game stops, the fan continues to wave his scarf about, but the stewards are in no particular hurry to deal with it. There's about 20 of them standing nervously on the touchline. Eventually, he is removed.

What was that about?

Spurs go bottom as it stands, with Blackburn, Stoke, West Brom and City all winning.
