Badshot Lea	1-1	Shaftesbury
3-5p	- not our intended destination by any means - though was at least a new ground for my mate – but in the end ‘needs must.’
	- Gridlocked ! - mostly due to the M4 closure and multiple roadworks around the arterial roads of ‘ding in RG1 & 2 - meant we failed to ‘escape’ the Whitley/Shinfield environs until close to 13:30 and headed in the only direction that seem block free.
	- at our intended/likely destinations the scores were 0-0 and 10-0 – so a touch of 'half full/empty' there?!
	- ‘Baggy Lea’ were 100% in the league, coming into this one but looked sluggish and disinterested for long periods. The visitors (known as 'The Rockies') who are at the same level, from the WESSEX Premier, were only marginally better and threatened slightly more late on, to just about merit progression thru the shoot-out. For some bizarre reason the official decided to take these down the far end from the clubhouse - where the majority of the crowd stood. Quite honestly I’m not sure the 139 there were too bothered, as the game had been fairly uninspiring up to that point.165
