Exactly Uke. Exactly. A football model despised by most Reading fans. Except the ones who support them too.

No, a good majority of us can't tolerate it here either.

No Fixed Abode It's funny that this thread proves football fans are a fickle bunch. Reading fans not liking continual sackings of managers, specifically at Chelsea - but calling for Jose to go. Last week we saw Reading fans pleased with the departure of Steve Clarke despite (at the time) being 1 point outside the play-offs.

You lot are turning into everything you h8 about football......

TBM Tbf the Bournemouth goal was offside

Personally i think Hazard wants to be at Real Madrid, Costa wants to go back to Spain and Fabregas isn't the player he was when he left Arsenal (hence why Barca were ok to let him go). Those 3 are key to Chelsea winning games....if their heads aren't in it, then Chelsea struggle

If it was it was highly marginal and virtually impossible to give "live" - could have gone either way and rightly, IMO, the flag stayed down.

Agreed, think he was just onside. Just.

As you know, I’m not someone who like to get dragged into the whole Chelsea debate….but I must say that their performance on Saturday was utterly shameful. Don’t think I have EVER seen defending champions play so badly. Fabregas looks shot to bits. Surprised Jose has lasted this long. As we saw last year, these are extremely talented players but something at the club is rotten…….and for a change, it’s not the fans.

Watched the game in my busy local, and the Bournemouth goal was celebrated like mental (including me). Was one poor CheLOLsea fan on his own in there. Actually felt for him. He was shaking his head at every misplaced pass, p*ss poor mistake and obviously the onside goal. Fair play to him though, he stayed right to the final whistle. Real fan.

The difference being that if Jose, say, went and interviewed for the Liverpool job and was about to take it but then they decided they wouldn't fork out for his staff - so he decided to stay at Chelsea.........would you be happy?

He was offside by an inch or two, but the linesman had no real way of seeing it = benefit of doubt to attacker.

The problem with Fabregas seems to be that he's being asked to play in the wrong position. He and Costa were excellent together last season and if I remember rightly it was because Fabregas was playing as the number 10 with Matic and Ramieres behind him.

It's only one part of the clusterfuck of issues at Chelsea at the moment but switching Fabregas to one of the two deeper midfielders looks to have upset the balance (funny as it is to see them imploding).

Bloody hell Kes, still? You can't give the benefit to the attacker if he's actually offside, unlike on Saturday where Murray was in line at worst

thought you might of got the penalty mind you, even though there was no intent

Murray and Fabregas were both offside as proven by the camera's. But don't let facts or it being Chelsea cloud your judgement.

No but he obviously wanted to leave - else he would have just turned it down without going to the interview.

In that game the assistant had no doubt so called it (correctly) offside.

Why is this so difficult for you to understand?

Both were offside so both should have been disallowed. This isn't rocket science m8!

If it takes a few replays and a white line across the replay to show that Murray's head was offside, then in the real world where humans make the decision it's not offside.

Ok, ok.....it was offside Kes

You were deprived of the prize of 1 point at home to Bournemouth, how desperate things have become. Why?
