Royal Rother With Chelsea I really do think that, bizarre as it seems, in humiliating and then ditching Eva Carneiro, Mourinho ripped a vital little piece of Chelsea's soul out. I suspect many of the players loved her, used her as a confidant, and hated the way she was treated. Some of them are tapping on a bit but they haven't suddenly become bad players during the summer - as a result of that shabby episode they just don't have the same regard, respect and awe for Jose and that is being reflected on the pitch. Small margins.

Entirely agree. Any team of course will react negatively if someone key is treated poorly ... And in this case so publically
I think "the special one" needs to move on

AthleticoSpizz stop talking sense Ian......
I am awaiting the Kes explaination
Ian RoyalAthleticoSpizz .....seriously, Wtaf is going on there?
Even Joses weekly ' penalty and offside claims sound half-hearted........not that he should even need to call on them versus Bournemouth with his squad
Ok, as much as I am enjoying it...I am equally as puzzled.
Ageing team in decline led by a manager who's talent has finally collapsed under the weight of his own ego and paranoia and whom many players have grown to hate?
It's spectacular (ly brilliant)

frimmers3 "Old" in comparison to Tottenham for example.

Yeah - stop talking sense Ian. That 'ageing' team had an average of under 26 years old yesterday.

paultheroyal Incredible when leicester's next 4 games are Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool and man city and clearly the easiest and most winnable is Chelsea

No Fixed Abode It's funny that this thread proves football fans are a fickle bunch. Reading fans not liking continual sackings of managers, specifically at Chelsea - but calling for Jose to go. Last week we saw Reading fans pleased with the departure of Steve Clarke despite (at the time) being 1 point outside the play-offs.
You lot are turning into Chelski......
