Have to say I've never really enjoyed beer being thrown over me, beit at football matches or gigs.

It was the euphoria of the moment, a promotion winning goal. Any other time I would've taken exception.

Somehow getting to Match of the Day and realising you don't know the scores of that day's games.

Good shout. You know something interesting will have happened when they put a game like West Brom v Swansea on first.

I did that the other week........the results for the day were

Man City 2-0 Hull
Cardiff 0-0 Everton
Newcastle 1-0 Fulham
Norwich 1-0 Southampton
West Ham 0-1 Stoke
Crystal Palace 3-1 Sunderland

And i had watched the Man City/Hull game but didn't know the others

ball going in via hitting the underside of the bar powerfully enough to bounce down and then back up into the roof of the net

No, me too - it's a special moment!

Can't beat it when it's a match you can not wait for, and been looking forward to for months and months, or for a game where tickets are selling quickly.

In the same vein as above, getting the last tickets for a game when you're not entitled to buy early. I got one of the last ones for Wolves away in the playoffs when the STHs only sale period ended, and had cycled after school from Emmer Green to get them. What a feeling when you're 17.

Had a similar experience at Stevenage away - me and 5 m8s bought the last 6 tickets in the home end, much to the delight of the 80+ Stevenage fans queuing behind us

Approaching a ground and hearing the noise of the crowd.

Walking onto the terrace of a new ground and seeing the inside of the stadium for the first time.

Chatting to fans of other clubs on the train home.

Noticing how good the pitch looks at the first game of the season.

The last few minutes of agony while hanging on for a 1-goal victory away from home.
