BTW not that anyone else seems to be watching, does Clive Tyldesley ever know why the ref has blown his whistle?

Silver Fox We all know Torres is a busted flush but waiting until the 77th minute or so to bring him on when Chelsea are desperate for a goal shows Jose knows it too

Far be it for me to support Jose but his plan couldn't have worked any better

Assume Lux, Soggy and the other usual suspects were out together at a quiz night or something last night.

"watching" Reading on Sky Soccer Tuesday or whatever it's called. Only pleasing thing to happen last night was the Leicester score. And even that would have been better as a draw.

Well played Chelsea, good result.

Feeling un-loved Kes?

Didn't catch the game as I was fcuking your sister, etc. Just saw the result, terrific and who knows, they might even win it again. For a crap season with no strikers, Jose hasn't done bad at all.

Good stuff from the Blues, panned out as any 'classic' European night should. Not to take anything anyway from them, but PSG are a very different beast without Zlatan.

Let hope Cavani is as wasteful in front of goal when England play Uruguay in a couple of months as he was last night; his miss from 10 yards out with about 10 minutes to go would have been a disgrace at any level of football.

Best team over the 2 legs deservedly won imho; the number of times PSG gave the ball away cheaply through sloppy passes or being caught in possession was astonishing for a supposed "top" side, and Chelsea showed genuine steel and vast experience of competing in these sort of games last night.

Chelsea should fear no-one left in the draw, especially if they draw Atletico (if they get past Barcelona) who won't be able to play their World Class young keeper against his parent club.

PSG look like they're still a work in progress, Chelsea did well to go through given the 2nd half shambles in Paris.

Couldn't help noticing the pat on the back and sympathetic treatment Hazard received from the PSG lot when he went off injured - maybe there is something in his potential move there.

Dortmund fans must be waking up in a somber mood, might be a while before they get this far for a while and must be worried that Reus is the next to be plundered from their squad.

Dortmund threw absolutely everything at Madrid. Bit of a shame as Klopp >>> all.

As for Chelsea?

Fair play. And I loved Mourinho's run and picking out players to change the tactics there and then. That's thinking about the game.
