Was listening to something this morning where Club Brugge attacking midfielder Charles De Ketelaere was being massively hyped. He is expected to win the award this week for the best player in Belgium and they were saying pretty much anyone who is anyone is watching him

Winston Biscuit Federico Chiesa's done his ACL. Real shame for him and Italy. Will be out for a long time now.

Ah that's shit. One of the most exciting young players in Europe in terms of his progression.

Yeah really like him, was a massive fan of his dad too. Great little player.

Yep, he's 'never failed to win the league'. The 10 in 9 is a quirk having played once for Juventus in Serie A in 2015-16 before his initial loan move to Bayern. And he might not have 10 or even 9 winners' medals. He made just three appearances over two seasons for PSG.

What's going on with Galatasaray? Currently languishing in 13th.

Athletic Club beat Barcelona 3-2 AET In the Copa Del Rey. Great game.

Earlier, 10 man Real Madrid came from behind to beat Elche. Winning goal was scored by some guy called Eden Hazard.

Imagine not knowing who Eden Hazard is :|

He used to play for Chelsea, Ian Royal

Sevilla draw and blow a chance to close the gap on Real Madrid at the top

If Atletico lose tonight (they are currently 2-0 down) then 9th place Rayo Vallecano are just 2 points off a Champions League spot

St Pauli really blowing things at the top of the German 2nd division. They were a few points clear some weeks ago but a loss to Hamburg this weekend, along with other poor recent results, and they are no longer top.

Empoli 2-4 Roma

3 Englishmen playing for Roma, 1 Scottsman playing for Empoli. Lovely stuff.

This was fun. 2-1 down going into injury time, Atletico won 3-2.

Hadn't noticed that prior to the weekend's matches, Ajax had conceded only four league goals in 19 games, and yet were second in the table to PSV. A 2-1 win put Ajax top again.

Yeah, that didn't work out so well. Hamburg is a pretty tough team! But the season is not over yet, everything is ahead. I think St. Pauli really wants to be at the top of the list.

Not seen it mentioned but a nice touch in Ajax's 9-0 rout of Excelsior in the cup.

With a couple of minutes left Excelsior subbed on Devin Plank, who is currently undergoing Chemo for fibular cancer - both teams gave him a guard of honour

I would like to see them back up again, but having been in a good position at the top, its now become very bunched up behind them and they are only 4 points ahead of 7th place, and they are in the worst form of any of those top 7 teams.

Henley's James Lawrence playing for St Pauli

Galatasaray now only 3 points above the relegation zone. I am a bit out of touch with what is going on there tbh, apart from that the legend that is Fatih Terim has recently departed (at least until the next time he takes over)

Are they under some sort of transfer emabargo? Seems very odd they are that low down. Reckon the stadium will go up in flames should they go down.

Galatasary defender Marcao was banned for eight games early this season after running 40 yards to headbutt and punch a teammate.

Lol @ the attempted punch. Fair play to ya man for not throwing himself on the ground.

Any idea what that was about?
