No Fixed AbodeSutekh And just how did Rojo only get a yellow card for that awful low flying lunge.
Another two footer last night. Thankfully there was no contact so I've no idea why he picked up a yellow card??

Victor Meldrew Not sure how Ibra stayed on the pitch after his elbow aimed at around the defender's throat.
With Rojo surviving two matches when he should have been sent off is this the opposite of the vendetta that Mourinho thought was the case against his team?
This latest challenge was IMHO far worse than many of the other offences for which players have seen red recently.
imright.com Former Premier League referee Howard Webb said: 'It's ugly from Zlatan Ibrahimovic. It's reckless rather than being seen as serious foul play. He's led with the shoulder rather than the extended arm or point of elbow. So I think a yellow card is just about right.
'If there was a little more force and a little more use of the arm, then he could've been looking at red but this one's a yellow card.
'It's not a million miles away (from a red). Taylor takes a little time before going to his pocket, thinking about whether or not there was use of the arm. I think because the arm's tucked in, I think he's decided it's reckless rather than excessive force.

Yeah, my only saving grace here is that he's in my Fantasy league team. Wish I'd put my other hate figure Costa in as well.

"Any player who lunges at an opponent in challenging for the ball from the front, from the side or from behind using one or both legs, with excessive force or endangers the safety of an opponent is guilty of serious foul play."

What's the view on the Jamie Vardy challenge.
I think it's a red.
He's just not in control
I looked at Law12 and there is no direct mention
of specific two footed tackles with intent etc...."Any player who lunges at an opponent in challenging for the ball from the front, from the side or from behind using one or both legs, with excessive force or endangers the safety of an opponent is guilty of serious foul play."

Jack Celliers All three recent ones were 100% red cards for me. Until a current referee comes out and says that players are allowed to leap in the air thrusting both feet towards opposition player and ball, I will still think that.
Vardy's will be rescinded though. Isn't it a panel of Souness-quality ex-players that looks again at the decisions?

it was a yellow much the same as Bruntimright.com Former Premier League referee Howard Webb said: 'It's ugly from Zlatan Ibrahimovic. It's reckless rather than being seen as serious foul play. Rondon was the one lucky to stay on the pitch for
raising his hands. H8 seeing players sent off for it
but it's the rules.

But there was no contact with the Rojo/Zaha incident so what do you give the red card for?
